Lyntone Angels

On Christmas Eve 15 Lyntone dancers turned onto little angels! We had been asked to take a small role in the Christmas play at St Laurence Church in Alvechurch. The play was a mixture of Scrooge meets the nativity and when Angel Gabriel was on stage she was joined by our little angels.

The girls danced beautiful and were very well behaved. Some of them had never done anything like this before and had to stay on stage for quite some time stood still and they managed it very well.

Thank you to the older girls for looking after the little ones, and thank you to all the parents that dropped them off at rehersals and came to watch.

Tiny Tots Christmas Party

On the Saturday before Christmas over 60 of our tiny tots descended on Solihull Lodge Community Centre for the annual Christmas party. Dressed in their party frocks they danced, played games, had chicken nuggets and chips and eagerly awaited the arrival of Santa. After lots of shouting for him he managed to find us. The children danced the routines that they had been practising for the past few weeks and were rewarded when Santa gave them a present each.

As usual Angela and Lisa played up, look at what they were wearing:

Tattoo 2011

Well done to all dancers on your performance at the Tattoo. As usual you did us all proud with your dancing and behaviour. I think we all enjoyed going on the coach so we shall try it again next year. You can watch the video on you tube by searching Lyntone School of Dance Tattoo 2011. or at the following link:

Photos are available online soon and will be on the wall after Christmas.

Well done again x

Medal Presentation

Thank you to everyone that came to the first Lyntone medal presentation in years. I think we can all agree that it was a wonderful night. The kids danced brilliantly but I think that the parents stole the show! I am sure that they will do us proud at the NIA this year.

Thank you to Katie and Nicky from BRMB for presenting all the medals and certificates. If you had your photo taken by them don't forget to check out the BRMB website

Thank you to everyone that brought a raffle ticket. Money raised last night will be going to Primrose Hospice. We shall let you know how much we raised as soon as its all counted.

Check out the photos in the gallery section.

Thank you all again, hopefully we shall do it all again next year!
